Henry Brunton Golf Academy named ‘Official International Junior Academy’ of the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour

 

Vancouver, BC – (August 15, 2023) – The Maple Leaf Junior Tour (MJT), Canada’s number one-played junior golf tour and the ‘Road to College Golf’ in Canada, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Henry Brunton Golf Academy (HBGA), a residential golf academy located in Orlando, Florida designed for athletes who aspire to excel at the NCAA level and beyond. The partnership agreement is for a three-year term running through the end of July 2026.

HBGA operate full-service golf academies offering best-in-class programs and services for golfers of all ages and all levels of experience in three locations – Toronto, Ontario at Eagles Nest Golf Club, Southern California at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine, CA and Orlando, FL at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links. Full-time students can enroll in two semesters from October 10 to December 10 and/or January 8 to May 8. Athletes who cannot come full-time can book HBGA Orlando ‘Road to the NCAA’ Experiences in weekly or monthly blocks, space permitting.

We founded our Florida High-Performance Junior Academy in 2015 to provide Canadian golf athletes with an opportunity that we didn't have growing up in Calgary and Ottawa, respectively. We are personally committed to offering the next generation of Canadian golfers the training and competitive experience required to develop to the NCAA and beyond. 87% of our HBGA Orlando graduates have advanced to the NCAA ranks. We have created an exceptional environment that we are proud to share."

Henry Brunton is a globally recognized golf coach and educator. The PGA of Canada Master Professional served as the first Canadian National Coach from 1999-2011. He is GOLF Magazine's Top 100 Teacher in America, a four-time national award recipient by the PGA, including 2016 National Teacher of the Year and 2015 National Coach of the Year, has coached and developed four world junior champions, two NCAA Men’s DI champions, 16 NCAA All-Americans, and a host of athletes who have graduated onto the PGA, LPGA and Korn Ferry Tours.

About the MJT: The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour is Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour as well as the only national junior tour run exclusively by PGA of Canada Professionals and the ‘Road to College Golf’ in Canada.
