Registration Information

To play in MJT tournaments all you have to do is:

• Be a junior golfer not older than 19 years of age (once you turn 20 you are no longer eligible to compete). You don't have to have a registered handicap and you don't have to be a member of a golf club!
• Create an account on this page http://www.maplejt.com/create.php (make sure to write down/record your username and password)
• Then select the tournaments you would like to play (there will be a link to the tournament registration page from your newly created account page)

You will then be directed to the payments page to enter your credit card information.

If you would prefer to pay by money order or cheque, please first create an account online, but then mail in your payment to reach Head Office no later than two weeks prior to the tournament selected; the mailing address is Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour, Box 18083, Tsawwassen, BC, Canada V4L 2B0.

Note: A membership fee of $139 is applicable.

The MJT also offers special "non-member" options. Note that players registering as a non-member do not receive member benefits/gift pack and must pay a surcharge on the tournament entry fee. If the player later chooses to join as a member, the MJT credits the surcharge paid toward annual dues and the member becomes eligible for all benefits from the date the membership was processed; international exemptions and OOM points are not retroactively reinstated.

(a) Players who are new to the Tour: This option is limited to one event, allowing players to try the tour without paying annual membership dues.

(b) Single Day Events: Registration in one day tournaments (18 holes) is open to all players; membership and non-member fees are waived.

(c) Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Atlantic Canada: Due to the limited number of events in these provinces, the MJT allows players to sign up as non-members for all tournaments in these Provinces. Please note a $25.00 surcharge is applied to each tournament registered in.

If you wish to register in a tournament as a non-member, just 'uncheck' the Membership Fee box once you have created your account and the non-member surcharge will automatically be added to your tournament entry fee.
